CCMC165 and Scaredy Cat

I wanted to try playing along with a new challenge this week, so I decided to participate with the Create with Connie and Mary challenge. These colors just screamed! Halloween to me, and I only needed an excuse to play with my new Scaredy Cat stamp set.

I went a little embossing crazy with this card. The Rich Razzleberry Card Stock was embossed twice. First, I embossed it with the Spider Web Embossing Folder and my Big Shot. Then, I went over the web with my Versamarker and Clear Embossing Powder, and heat embossed. This gave the web the glistening shine that I wanted. The spiders, ghost and greeting were all heat embossed with black embossing powder.

The Scaredy Cat Stamp Set is my favorite new Halloween set. So many scary possibilities! I'm thinking you can even isolate just the ghost or one pumpkin to put in a circle for a treat bag. Hmmm, I better get started on that!

  1. Very fun Halloween card! I love the look of the heat embossed spider web. Have to remember that idea. The little ghost is adorable & would be perfect singled out on his own.
