CCMC 166, Domestic Goddess and Itty Bitty Bits

Happy Monday, Stampers! I designed today's card with the newest Create With Connie and Mary Sketch Challenge in mind.  I love sketches that are not too complicated. They leave a lot of room for the imagination to run wild! Now, in looking at the sketch, I see that I forgot to round my corners. Oh, well, too late now! Otherwise I followed the sketch pretty closely.

The colors in the Domestic Goddess Designer Paper are just fabulous! They were the inspiration for my color scheme. I constructed the majority of the card, but the focal image was left for last because I could not decide what to put in the blank space. Then it dawned on me... Itty Bitty Bits! My Itty Bitty Bits have been kind of neglected as of late and it was time for them to come out and play.

The images in Pool Party ink were stamped first and then cut out using the punches in the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, which coordinate perfectly with this stamp set. The Calypso Coral images were just punched without any stamping. A few rhinestones and pearls add just the right amount of glam.

  1. Your card is adorable! The itty bitty bits are perfect for that space. I don't have them yet, but was borrowing them last week & they just add such perfect little touches when you need them. Plus those punches are a great way to use those little bits of paper that aren't big enough to use on their own. The domestic goddess dsp is my very favorite. I love the pool part & coral combination. Really should buy another set of that one!
