Nature Walk Friends

Happy Monday, Stampers! The card I have to share with you today was "cased" from another talented Stampin' Up! demonstrator and features one of my favorite stamp sets of all time, Nature Walk. The original version of this card used Designer Series Paper which is now retired, so I made my own using current products. The Old Olive background paper was made with the Decor wheel and then sponged. The Cherry Cobbler paper was made using the netting background stamp, and then also sponged.

Two colors on one stamp was achieved by using markers to color the stamp. I stamped once, and then without re-inking, stamped again to make a second lighter image.

I was having so much fun, I didn't stop there! I used the same stamps, once again, stamped off once to create lighter images on the inside of the card. I had a little strip of my background paper left, so I used it as a border.

Since I already had my Tiny Tags set out, I thought this would be a fun way to finish the back of the card off. I could have stamped onto the Early Espresso card stock with Versamark and then heat embossed with white, but I thought the little tag would be more fun.
