Yesterday I was thinking that I would like to make a card to showcase the new 2011-2013 In Color's. Thumbing through the new catalog for inspiration, I came across a card (on page 217) that I thought would be perfect. Of course, I changed it up a little to make it my own. I'm really happy with the results.

The background behind the small butterflies was created using a piece of designer paper and cutting it into random sized strips. Easy, and has a cute effect. It almost looks as though it is pleated, I think.
This card is all about the Beautiful Wings Embosslit. I use mine all the time. Almost any card can benefit from a butterfly here and there, don't you think?
