Uncharted Territory For Father

Father's Day will be here before you know it and I hope today's post inspires you to get started on a card on a card or two. This is a simple monochromatic card, but I think that texture adds some interest. The image, from the Uncharted Territory stamp set, was stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Black Stampin'  Emboss powder. The dimension and shine that heat embossing adds to a project is just awesome.

The sentiment is from one of my go-to sets, Wonderful Favorite. The use of a Stamp-A-Ma-Jig assures that your sentiment will be perfectly lined up. The Sahara Sand cardstock was then lightly sponged with Basic Black ink to soften the edges. Some Basic Black cardstock embossed with the Square Lattice folder finishes it up.
